My fantastic friend and colleague Leigh Lacobucci is currently in post-production of her documentary, “Take Me Away Fast”, a film about a DJ who journeys throughout West Africa to discover rare, vinyl recordings of Afro-beat and Afro-funk music. She found Frank’s blog online (www.voodoofunk.com) and fell in love with this music and the stories he wrote about.
For a woman who also as a full time job at the World Economic Forum creating our unique video content, I can not believe she also put together this full length feature. Plus, it is an truly unique glance into a world of music, creativity and passion that we rarely get to see. Love it!
